RENO, Nev. - Coming off of a home win over Cal State San Marcos on Monday, Nevada women's basketball hits the road for the first time this season to face Sacramento State.
Both teams come into the contest after winning their first games of the season. Monday, the Pack took down the Cougars, 70-53.
Ahrray Young led with 15 points, eight rebounds, four assists and a steal.
Tahj-Monet Bloom came off the bench to contribute 11 points and six rebounds in just under 18 minutes of play.
The Hornets won on Monday over Stanton, 124-39. Their leading scorer was Brooklyn Taylor with 19 points. She also had six rebounds. Natalie Picton followed with 18 points. She also contributed five steals and three rebounds.
This will be the 34th time Nevada and Sacramento State have met up. The Pack currently leads with 22 wins over the Hornets, with the last meeting being in 2023 when Nevada won in Reno, 69-53.
