RENO, Nev. - Nevada gets back in the win column with a victory against UC Santa Barbara, 77-64, on Saturday afternoon.
As a team, the Pack shot 47.9 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from the three, and 86.7 percent from the line.
Corey Camper Jr. set a new career high with 27 points to set the pace for the offense. The Arkansas native was followed by
Elijah Price (14 points and eight rebounds) and
Tayshawn Comer (14 points and two rebounds)
Comer and
Joel Armotrading led the team's defense with three steals and three blocks, respectively.
Tyler Rolison also recorded three steals to hold the Gauchos to 40.4 percent shooting from the field, 29.2 percent from the three, and 65.2 percent from the line.
First Half:
Nevada came out of the gate strong, starting off with a 7-point lead at the 16-minute mark. The Pack continued to stay in the lead up until the two-minute mark, where the Gauchos tied the game 24-24.
Nevada then went on a five-point run to get the lead back until UCSB made a free throw to cut the deficit to 32-28.
Second Half:
The Pack continued their momentum at the end of the first half, growing their lead to 14 points at the 13-minute mark with Camper Jr.'s three-point shot.
From then on, Nevada had full control of the game, with their largest lead being 18 points.
The Pack secured a 77-64 win after Price made two free throws to end the game.

Nevada gets back on the road and travels to Palm Springs, Calif., for the 2025 Acrisure Series. The Pack is set to face Washington on Nov. 27 at 1:30 pm, and either Colorado or San Francisco on Nov. 28.
