RENO, Nev. - Nevada women's basketball opens its 2025-26 season against Cal State San Marcos on Monday inside Lawlor Events Center.
Monday night's game will be the first time the Pack and Cougars have met.Â
The Pack look to keep the home-opening win streak alive as they have won the last three home openers. In the off-season, Nevada has added nine new names to the roster, five freshmen and four transfers, plus the return of a few redshirt players.
Ahrray Young and
Amelia Raidaveta redshirted last season and will be key pieces this year joining the experience of

Imbie Jones who both return as starters for the Pack. Sullivan is just 25 made threes away from breaking into the top 10 in program history. In addition, freshmen
Skylar Durley,
Britain Backus,
Hanna Jolinder,
Makayla Carter and
Gabby Ramos will be impactful for the Pack. The experience of sixth-year
Cheyenne McEvans, matched with transfers
Chloe Williams,
Tahj-Monet Bloom, and
Maia Rosarion add even more depth.
Nevada is coming off of an 11-21 overall record and 6-12 in conference in the 2024-25 season. As Head Coach
Amanda Levens heads into her 9th season, the Pack are looking to make a statement in the Mountain West conference.
Fans are not going to want to miss the action inside Lawlor, with revamped themes, giveaways and an exciting new team.Â
After playing an exhibition and scrimmage in preparation for the preseason, Nevada feels ready to kick things off in front of its home crowd on Monday night.
