RENO, Nev. - Nevada women's basketball is set to host Alabama A&M on Friday night in its Native American Heritage game.
The Pack enters the week after a tough loss at Saint Mary's on Sunday, 56-50.
Ahrray Young led the Pack with 16 points, plus three rebounds and a steal. She went 6-9 from the paint and 4-6 from three.
Chloe Williams contributed with 11 points, four rebounds, three steals and a block.
Makayla Carter led in rebounds with a season high of nine.Â
Young currently leads the Pack in scoring, with Carter leading in rebounds, and
Izzy Sullivan leading in steals.
Alabama A&M also comes into the game off of a loss, falling to Alabama on Monday night with a final of 66-43. Coriah Beck led in that game for the Bulldogs with 11 points, with four rebounds and three assists. Moses Davenport followed with 10 points and three rebounds.Â
Davenport is the current scoring and rebounding leader for Alabama A&M,Â
After a short break, Nevada is looking to keep the momentum going at home. Friday's match-up will be the first meeting between the Pack and Bulldogs. First tip is set for 6:30 PM and tickets can be purchased
