RENO, Nev. - One player has signed to play basketball for Nevada women's basketball next season, as announced by Head Coach Amanda Levens on Wednesday.
This signing day features local combo guard, Taua Puloka

Puloka began her high school career at Bishop Manogue High School helping lead them to a Nevada 4A state championship in 2024. In her junior season, Puloka transferred to Reed high school and was named the Nevada State 4A player of the year averaging 20.8 points per game, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.7 steals per contest. She was also named the 2024 and 2025 Northern Nevada Player of the Year.
Outside of her high school career, Puloka played club basketball for Jam On It and Just Believe Sports (JBS). Puloka is of Tongan heritage and was a representative for Tonga on the national team, playing in the Pacific Games and averaging 15.8 points per game. She was also the first-ever Tongan athlete to participate in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Asia event. Taua is not the first in her family to represent the Wolf Pack with her father, Junior, playing tight end for Nevada Football from 2007-2010.
