RENO, Nev. -Â Sixteen Nevada student-athletes earned 1A FAR Academic Excellence Awards for the 2024-25 academic year, it was announced Thursday.
The 16 selections represent nine Wolf Pack programs. The 1A FAR Academic Excellence Award recognizes outstanding student-athletes for their significant accomplishments in the classroom while competing at the highest level of college sports. The award is given annually to student-athletes who graduate with a cumulative GPA of 3.80 or above and have participated in at least two years of NCAA intercollegiate athletics at a Football Bowl Subdivision institution.
Nevada Swimming and Diving led all Wolf Pack programs with five award winners, with Women's Soccer next with three.
