Wolf Pack Fridays packages, renewals launch for 2026-27

RENO, Nev. - Fridays will be packed full of Silver and Blue once again for the 2026-27 season as "Wolf Pack Fridays," Nevada Athletics' initiative to make Reno and its surrounding areas "Nevada's College Town," launched for the upcoming year.

Wolf Pack Fridays invites local businesses and fans to come together and celebrate as a Pack. Fans donning their Wolf Pack pride on Fridays will unlock deals and discounts created just for them by participating businesses across Northern Nevada.

Local businesses and fans can become a Wolf Pack Fridays partner by signing up here. Annual participation as a Wolf Pack Fridays partner runs through July 31, 2027, and packages for businesses begin at $100.

After registering, partners will receive an exclusive Wolf Pack Fridays welcome package, which includes a Wolf Pack Friday flag. Partners will also have access to Wolf Pack Fridays promotional resources, including digital assets, additional signage (at an additional cost), and an exclusive discount at Silver and Blue Outfitters, and receive a listing and link on our Wolf Pack Fridays partner page.

Partners of Wolf Pack Fridays will unlock the benefits of running with the Pack and connecting with our strong community of fans every Friday. Wolf Pack Friday gives restaurants, retailers, and service providers more exposure and fans get discounts and deals to the places they love.

The Wolf Pack Fridays program –and the community support—plays a vital role in fulfilling Nevada Athletics' mission of guiding and supporting student athletes. The 2025-26 campaign saw a number of successes for Wolf Pack student athletes and teams, including Indoor Track & Field finishing second at the Credit Union 1 2026 Mountain West Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in February and Nevada Softball reaching the conference title game at the CU1 2026 Mountain West Softball Championships at Hixson Park.

Track & Field's Lilly Urban finished fifth in Javelin at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, earning first-team All-America honors, while two more Wolf Pack student-athletes, Scarlett Ferris (Swimming & Diving) and Erica Lynch (Skiing) also earned All-America honors.

Among the exciting things in the Wolf Pack's future are two new capital projects: the GSR Arena and the University indoor fieldhouse. The GSR Arena celebrated it groundbreaking in September 2025 while the University held its "Topping Off" ceremony for the fieldhouse in April 2026, with completion of the facility expected in October.

Local businesses can be part of the Wolf Pack's exciting, upcoming 2026-27 campaign by signing up here and showing their Northern Nevada pride.
