Nevada Falls Late to Colorado College

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Nevada Women's Soccer showed grit on the road Thursday, clawing back to level the score before Colorado College sealed a 2-1 win in the final minutes.

The Tigers struck early, finding the back of the net just 10 minutes into the match. Nevada held firm defensively and kept pressing, and in the 77th minute, Olivia Loomis delivered the equalizer off a clean assist from Abigail Souza.

Momentum shifted briefly, but Colorado College responded in the 85th minute with the game-winner, handing the Pack a narrow defeat.

Nevada remains in Colorado through the weekend and will battle Air Force on Sunday, October 19 at noon.
