Davidson and DuSell Shine as Nevada Wins Against San Jose State

RENO, Nev. - Nevada extended their winning streak to three games with a 75-64 victory over San Jose State at the Lawlor Events Center, snapping the Spartans' two-game run. The Wolf Pack were led by Nick Davidson's 23 points and 7 rebounds, while Xavier DuSell added 15 points and 5 rebounds, including clutch three-pointers in the second half.

For San Jose State, Robert Vaihola posted 12 points and 6 rebounds, and Josh Uduje also added 12 points.

First Half

The game opened with a back-and-forth battle, as neither team could establish a strong lead. San Jose State held their largest lead of six points midway through the half, driven by timely shooting from Uduje and Sadaidriene Hall.

Nevada, however, capitalized on their size advantage, with Davidson anchoring their offense. By halftime, Nevada edged ahead 36-32.

Second Half

The second half saw Nevada hit the ground running with an 8-2 burst, extending their lead to eight points. San Jose State fought back, highlighted by Vaihola's gritty work inside, tying the game at 55 with just under eight minutes to play.

However, Xavier DuSell's back-to-back three-pointers swung the momentum decisively in Nevada's favor. Davidson's dunks in the closing moments sealed the game for the Wolf Pack. Nevada improved to 11-7 on the season, showing resilience and a knack for closing out games as they prepare for their next matchup.
