SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - In its final game before the start of conference play, Nevada Soccer took on Cal Poly where the Wolf Pack, 5-1, fell after a second half surge by the Mustangs. 

The first 45 minutes of action was even as neither team found the back of the net. Nevada's best first half attempt came in the 18th minute off the foot of Caly Ah Soon, but was saved by Cal Poly's goalie. 

Into the second half, the first ten minutes saw no score before Cal Poly got on the board in the 57th minute. The Mustangs tacked on two more before the Wolf Pack were able to get a goal of their own.

In the 76th minute, Emily Rich brought Nevada back within two. 

The Wolf Pack tried to contain the Mustangs, but two more scores by Cal Poly would bring the game to its final of 5-1.

Nevada will stay on the road to take on San Diego State on September 26th at 7 PM.
