RENO, Nev. - Nevada Softball will welcome five teams to Hixson Park and travel to Rocklin for an eight-game fall slate.
The fall season will open on Friday, October 4 at 3 p.m. against West Valley College of Saratoga. The game against the Vikings will be the front end of a back-to-back, closing opening weekend the next day against Pacific at 1 p.m.
Nevada will host Feather River College the following week on Friday, October 11 at 3 p.m.
The home slate will close with three games over Nevada Day weekend, hosting Lassen College and UC Davis. The Pack will take on Lassen College at 4 p.m. on Friday, October 25, followed by a doubleheader on Saturday, October 26 at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. against UC Davis.
The Wolf Pack's lone road trip will close out the fall season with a doubleheader in Rocklin, Calif. Nevada will play against hosts Sierra College as well as in a neutral-site game against Southern Oregon.
Admission to all fall home games is free for all attendees.
The fall season will be the first look at Victoria Hayward's Wolf Pack team. Nevada returns four starters, including all-Mountain West honorees, Aaliyah Jenkins and Haley Painter. The Wolf Pack pitching staff was replenished by a combination of youth and experience adding junior pitchers Hailey McLean and Tess Bumiller from Utah State, as well as sophomore transfer Jessica McPartland.
