RENO, Nev. - Nevada safety Kitan Crawford was named to the Watch List for the 2025 Reese's Senior Bowl Wednesday morning.

The Reese's Senior Bowl is widely regarded as the preeminent college football all-star game and the first stage in the NFL Draft process. The longest continual-running all-star game has taken place in Mobile, Alabama the past 75 years.  More than 900 NFL personnel, including key decision-makers from all 32 teams, and over 1100 media members from around the country were credentialed this year. This past April, the game produced 110 total picks, representing 43 percent of the entire NFL draft.

Crawford will play his fifth year at Nevada after spending the past four years (2020-23) at Texas. The Tyler, Texas native was part of the 2023 Big XII champion Longhorn squad that reached the CFP semifinal. With the Longhorns, Crawford was named Honorable Mention Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year in 2023, and appeared in 46 games over his career, racking up 61 tackles, 2.0 tackles-for-loss, an interception, and two pass breakups.

Nevada will Launch the Jeff Choate Era this Saturday, Aug. 24, when it hosts new ACC member SMU at 5 p.m. at Mackay Stadium. Choate spent the past three seasons (2021-23) as co-defensive coordinator and inside linebackers coach at Texas, helping lead the Longhorns to a Big XII title and College Football Playoff appearance in 2023. Prior to his time in Austin, Choate served as head coach at Montana State from 2016-20, leading the Bobcats to a pair of FCS playoff berths, including a run to the semifinals in 2019.
