SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Pack took the series Saturday night after back-to-back wins, but fell short in Sunday's series finale.
 
The Pack picked up an early 1-0 lead in the first with a solo blast from Bridgette Gilliano. The Pack extended the lead in the second with an RBI single down the right field line from Charli Hawkins, scoring Aaliyah Jenkins. A. Jenkins reached on a double down the left field line.
 
Aztecs cut the lead in half in the third by stealing home.
 
San Diego State took the lead with a three-run fifth inning, 4-2. The Pack was not able to convert any runs in the sixth.
 
Bailie Clark doubled in the top of the seventh, bringing Chelie Senini, the tying run to the plate but a flyout to center field ends the game and the Pack falls short 4-2.
 
Blake Craft got her second start of the series after pitching a complete game on Friday's series opener. Craft went 4.2 innings, striking out one, walking six, allowing four runs on five hits.
 
Tyra Clary came in for relief in the fifth, pitching the remaining 1.1 innings. Clary struck out one, issued one walk, allowing no runs on no hits.
