LOGAN, Utah – Nevada Men's Tennis took on its second ranked opponent in a row, falling 4-0 to the Utah State Aggies.
 
Nevada (5-12, 1-3 MW) opened the dual by getting the edge in the doubles session with Matheo Coupu and Youssef Kadiri's dominant 6-2 victory over Stijn Paardekooper and Nuno Pinheiro. Utah State quickly tied the doubles session with a 6-1 victory on court three. Court two's tiebreaker fell in favor of the Aggies, giving Sergi Mico Fonollar and Bodin Zarkovic the victory over Loris Zisswiller and Rémy Trégourès.
 
The Aggies continued rolling in the singles session, winning five of six first-sets. Zarkovic added to the Utah State lead with his 6-3, 6-1 win against Coupu on court one.
 
Pinheiro brought Utah State within one point of clinching, defeating Trégourès, 6-2, 6-2. Philipp Rein defeated Greg Valente, 6-3, 6-4 on court six to clinch the dual for the Aggies.
 
The Wolf Pack fall to the bottom of the Mountain West standings following the loss. They'll look for their second conference victory on Sunday at Boise State, starting at 10 a.m.
