HOUSTON, Texas – Nevada swim and dive is set for the Mountain West Championship, Feb. 21-24 in Houston, Texas. Prelims are set for every day starting at 10:30 a.m. CT and finals at 6 p.m. CT, with the exception of Wednesday, Feb. 21 with diving prelims starting at noon CT.
Nine teams will compete for the conference championship. The Wolf Pack has 11 freshman competing in their first ever conference championship.
San Diego State won the conference in 2023 with 1,638 points.
Yasmin Perry currently ranks second in the conference in the 200 butterfly, .01 seconds behind UNLV's Blanka Bokros.
The 400 medley relay team consisting of
Scarlett Ferris,
Sara Mihalic,
Yasmin Perry, and
Colette Berkenfield look to hold on to their top time in the conference with Nevada's all-time third best time in the event of 3:37.87, 0.73 seconds shy of the program's best time.
Lucia Gabino, reigning Mountain West Diver of the Year and Diver of the Meet, looks to defend her title in the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard events.
