RENO, Nev. - The Wolf Pack are looking to get a bounce-back win in their first road game of the season. After a heartbreaking 57-68 loss against Washington State, the team's motivation to win has never been more prominent this year. The Lions are also motivated to defend their home court, as they took a gruesome 54-83 loss to another Mountain West Conference team in Colorado State.
The last time Nevada and LMU played each other was last year when the Wolf Pack defended their home court, winning 73-59 in the Lawlor Events Center. The last game between both teams at the Gersten Pavilion was two years ago, where the Lions held Nevada to 3-for-22 shooting in the second half to change a tie score at intermission into a 64-52 win. Saturday's matchup will be the fourth consecutive match up between both teams.
