RENO, Nev. - Nevada women's basketball is coming off its first conference win on Sunday, taking San Jose state, 63-59. The Pack will now head out on the road to face New Mexico and Air Force.
The game against the Lobos will kick-off the start of the new year. It is set for January 1 at 1 PM and can be streamed

In the game against San Jose State, Nevada showed a new fire to start conference play.
Imbie Jones made her first start for Nevada, tallying five points and grabbing three rebounds.
Izzy Sullivan came off the bench to lead the Pack in scoring with 13, followed by
Audrey Roden and
Lexie Givens with 11. Roden also led in rebounds with six.
Despite four lead changes and three ties, Nevada held the lead for the majority of the game, taking the win.
New Mexico and Air Force faced each other in the first conference game of the season, with the Lobos coming out on top, 69-63. Vianè Cumber from New Mexico led both teams in scoring with 20. Air Force's Milahnie Perry dropped 19. Hulda Joaquim of the Lobos recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards.
It was a tight game through all 40 minutes as neither team led by double-digits, the largest coming from New Mexico with nine. There were four lead changes and one time as the Lobos came out on top.
The Pack will look to keep the momentum and add to their conference win column as they take on the Lobos and Falcons before returning home next week.
