Reno, Nev. - Nevada Track and Field will kick off the 2024 season by hosting the Silver State Invitational this Thursday (5th Dec) through Saturday (7th Dec). The meet will be held at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center from around 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The squad is coming off a great 2023-24 season and are looking to capitalize on that success beginning with the indoor season and onto the outdoor season in 2025. The indoor season will consist of seven meets, concluding with the NCAA Indoor Championships March 14-15. The outdoor season will include 10 meets, concluding with the NCAA Outdoor Championships hosted by Oregon, June 11-14. 

Thursday's events will include the Women's Pentathlon and Men's Heptathlon, Friday will continue the Men's Heptathlon and begin the field events, including throws and jumps. Track events will also begin on Friday, with the heats rolling into the prelims and finals on Saturday. 

This is a momentus day for Nevada Track and Field, as it is the first time the Wolf Pack has hosted an Indoor Meet. Come down to the Reno-Sparks Convention Center Thursday through Saturday to get a glimpse of the amazing athletes the Track and Field program has to offer. 

General admission tickets are $10 and will be enforced by the RSCVA on site.
