Box Score RENO, Nev. - Nevada women's basketball returned home on Saturday, dropping a season high points in the 95-54 victory over Cal State East Bay.
Several players hit double-digits in scoring, with multiple of them setting career or season highs.
Victoria Davis led the Pack with 23 points, followed by
Lexie Givens with 15.
Izzy Sullivan and
Olivia Poulivaati each had 12, with the latter being a career high.
Imbie Jones saw a season high in scoring with eight.
Charlotte Climenhage was a perfect 2-2 from beyond the arc.
Audrey Roden had a season high six assists, while Davis tied her career high in steals with six.Â
The Pack opened up with an 8-0 run that started with a layup by Poulivaati and was capped off with a three by Davis. The defense of Nevada kept Cal State East Bay off the board until nearly two minutes into the game.Â
Nevada continued to control the opening quarter, going up by as much as 13 and taking that into the second, up 23-10.
Quarter two started with another run by the Pack, this time dropping four points before Cal State East Bay could score.Â
The domination of Nevada continued, building its lead up to 26. The first half came to a close with the Pack up, 47-25. Davis had 15 of those points.
Poulivaati opened up the second half by knocking down a three. She went on to score the other four opening points of the third to put Nevada up by 28. Back-to-back threes by
Dymonique Maxie and Givens, plus a jumper from Davis, then put the Pack up by 34 with just over five and a half remaining.Â
Sullivan got in on the three-point action splashing one of her own, followed by Climenhage's second of the day.
After another strong quarter by Nevada, it took a 80-38 lead into the final 10. The last quarter saw the Wolf Pack's largest lead of 47, before they closed it out with a 41-point victory.
Nevada will head to Hawaii next week to face Miami on Thursday at 9:30 and Western Kentucky on Friday at 5:30 in the Maui Classic.
