RENO, Nev. - Nevada women's basketball is set to host the Nugget Classic this weekend, hosting three teams from three different states.

The Pack will take on Central Michigan, Southern Utah and Portland, with all games being at 1 PM. 

The tournament will begin on Friday with the match up of Nevada and Central Michigan. The Pack is coming off a win over Morgan State on Sunday, 66-56. Victoria Davis had a career high 24 points. Defensively, Nevada held Morgan State to under 10 points, as well as only shooting 7% from the field in the first quarter. Central Michigan is coming off a loss to Oakland. 

Nevada will then play Southern Utah on Saturday. The Thunderbirds will take on Portland on Friday at 3 PM. They enter the tournament coming off a win over Bethesda University of California. 

The Pack will round out the Nugget Classic against Portland. The Pilots enter the tournament coming off a win over California Baptist. 

Nevada will also honor Native American Heritage Month all throughout the weekend with special performances, videos and more.
