RENO, Nev. - The Nevada Men's Basketball program and Head Coach Steve Alford have announced the signing of Peyton White, a 6-9, 200-pound forward, out of Mater Dei high school, based in Santa Ana, Calif.

Davidson averaged 11.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game last season for Mater Dei, one of the top programs in California. Davidson, now a rising senior at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, has built his game around strong play inside the arc. As a junior, he scored 155 two-pointers and hit ten three-pointers. He averaged 4.8 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in his sophomore year.

Mater Dei, which finished last season ranked 10th in California and 49th nationally by MaxPreps, has been an excellent platform for Davidson's development. He also competed with Vegas Elite on the AAU circuit, further honing his skills.
Davidson is joining Peyton White in Nevada's 2025 recruiting class ahead of the 2025-26 season. Nevada Basketball continues to build momentum and add depth to its roster ahead of the 2025-26 season, with seven players on the 2024-25 roster in their final year of eligibility.
