RENO, Nev. - Following an outstanding month of October, Nevada Men's Tennis duo, Youssef Kadiri and Lucas Hammond, qualified for the ITA West Sectional Championships in Malibu, Calif.

The ITA West Sectional Championships will be held on the campus of Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif. The tournament will be spread across four days, starting Nov. 7 and running through Nov. 10. The ITA Sectional Championships serve as one of the two final paths for athletes to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships this fall. The top three doubles pairs (finalists and third-place match winner) will advance from the Sectional Championships to the NCAA Individual Championships. The West Sectional will consist of players from the Northwest, Southwest, and Mountain Regional.

Through October, Kadiri and Hammond are 9-3 as a duo, including a victory over #11 ranked BYU pairing, Wally Thayne and Zach Fuchs, in the ITA Mountain Regional quarterfinal. The ITA Mountain Regional semifinal appearance is what earned the Wolf Pack their bid to the Sectional Championships.
