PROVO, Utah - Axel Huysmans captured his opening-round singles match Wednesday to highlight Wolf Pack action at the ITA Mountain Regional in Provo, Utah.

Huysmans defeated Idaho State's Lewie Bouman, 7-6 (5), 6-1 to advance to Thursday's second round where he will face New Mexico's David Schwarc.

In the doubles main draw, both Wolf Pack tandems saw their respective runs end in the second round. Rémy Trégourès and Nicolas Recoura fell 8-6 to No. 4 seed Sep and Timo De Visser of Idaho State while Sebastiano Cressi and Greg Valente dropped a 8-2 decision to No. 16 Tygen Goldammer and TJ Wells of BYU.
