LOGAN, Utah—In a tough contest, Nevada Volleyball was swept by Utah State in straight sets (12-15, 18-25, 12-25) at the Wayne Estes Center. With the loss, the Wolf Pack falls to 11-11 overall and 4-7 in Mountain West play.
Nevada struggled to find rhythm offensively, hitting only .143 as a team. Sia Liilii led the Wolf Pack with nine kills while Gabby McLaughlin contributed seven kills and eight digs. Tehya Maeva facilitated the offense with 19 assists.
The first set saw Utah State dominate with a .700 hitting percentage, taking the set 25-12. Nevada improved in the second set but fell short 25-18. The Aggies continued to apply pressure in the third, winning 25-12 to complete the sweep.
Nevada looks to bounce back when they return home to face Boise State on Saturday.
