SAN JOSE, Calif. - Nevada Soccer was on the road for the first of a two-game stretch, downing San Jose State and completing the second shut-out in a row. The Wolf Pack defeated the Spartans with a final of 2-0.

Following the major 5-0 win over Colorado College on Sunday, Nevada was looking to carry the moment into this week's match-up and extend its win streak. 

The first half is where Nevada saw both its goals. Penny Murphy got things going for the Wolf Pack in the 25th minute. She scored off of her right foot into the top right of the net. Emily Rich followed it up in the 31st minute by scoring her fourth goal of the season. She went opposite of Murphy and launched the ball into the top left of the goal. 

On the defensive side, Nevada did not allow a single goal from San Jose. Alyssa Szarlacki recorded five saves for the Wolf Pack and got her second shut-out in just as many games. 

Nevada will stay on the road to take on Fresno State on October 13 at 12 PM.
