RENO, Nev. – Nevada outfielder Chelie Senini was named to the All-Mountain West Preseason Team, the conference announced Wednesday.
 
Senini is a three-time All-Mountain West First Team (2021, 2022, 2023) and is entering her final senior season with the Pack.
 
Senini played a huge role over her four seasons at Nevada, breaking several school and conference records. Her career accolades include holding the school and conference record in career stolen bases with 128. She holds the Nevada record in career triples with 10 and her .341 career batting average ranks top-10 all-time at Nevada.
 
Last season, Senini appeared in all 50 games with 149 at-bats, 50 stolen bases in 59 attempts. She recorded a .356 batting average with 53 hits, 50 runs, two doubles, three triples, and 50 runs scored.
 
Nevada, with interim head coach Marina Demore at the helm, opens the 2024 campaign Feb. 8 at the Paradise Classic in Honolulu, Hawai'i facing Missouri- Kansas City Thursday, Feb. 8 at 6:30 P.M. (PST) and Hawaii at 9 P.M. Pack opens up home play March 15 facing Fresno State.
 
Nevada is projected to finish fifth in the Mountain West Conference this season.
