Emily Clarke represented the Pack solo at the UW Invitational in the 5000 meters, running a new indoor personal record time of 16:36.59 to rewrite her own second all-time mark in Nevada school history, placing sixth overall Friday afternoon.

Clarke rewrote her previous indoor time in the event by 12 seconds. In the field, UC Davis's Danielle Barrett took the crown in 16:23.58. Clarke trailed Northwestern's Kalea Bartolotto in the second heat by seven seconds as she rounded out the top five overall in a time of 16:29.89.

The top time in Nevada school history in the 5000 meters is held by Emily Meyers (16:17.09) recorded during the 2016-2017 season.

Clarke is coming off a 25
th place finish in the 3000 meters from the UW Preview Invitational two weeks ago where she also saw a new personal record in the event and ran the third-fastest time in Nevada school history and ranked sixth in the Mountain West in the event.

The Pack squad will keep their travel in the state of Washington, traveling to the Spokane Invitational, February. 1-3.
