LANGLEY TOWNSHIP, British Columbia - Another day in Canada, another fun experience for the Pack, and another victory for Nevada to take back to the United States. 

After a long, but enjoyable day sightseeing, shopping and doing fun-filled beach activities on Saturday, the Pack went back to work with its usual game day routine. Breakfast and the morning shootaround kicked off the morning, with Nevada focusing on improving things from the first exhibition game and preparing for its opponent, the UFV Cascades. 

It wasn't all business in the morning, however. In the team's traditional halfcourt shot contest after every shootaround, Claire Jacobs sank the halfcourt shot in her first and only attempt. Following lunch, the team took a short break from game day prep and headed to Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. 

Known as one of the most popular tourist attractions in British Columbia, the team experienced the stunning natural beauty the views the Suspension Bridge had to offer. Everyone crossed the legendary Suspension Bridge, walked through the rainforest canopy with Treetops Adventure and experienced the palpitating rush of going above the canyon with the Cliffwalk. 

"It was so cool standing in the center of the Suspension Bridge as it swayed back-and-forth," freshman Elle Motherway said. "We learned from one of the signs at the attraction that it was 230 feet in the air." 

Facing a team that went 15-7 and reached the Canada West Quarterfinals last season, the Pack raised their level of play. The Pack's pressure defense allowed Nevada to snag steals that led to transition buckets while crashing the glass on both ends of the floor. 

Nevada's balanced scoring allowed the Pack to clinch its second win of the Canadian Exhibition Tour. 

"I think we got a level better today," Jacobs said. "We battled and fought through a very physical team and were able to adjust to match them. We stayed supportive of each other with a good atmosphere and saw glimpses of the style and the way we want to play throughout the season."
