RENO, Nev. – Coming off a 4-2 loss to Fresno State on Thursday, Nevada women's tennis bounces back, sweeping San Jose State 4-0 in the last home match of the season, moving to 7-7 on the year, 2-4 in Mountain West play, and finishing with a 3-1 record at home. 
 
The Pack and the Spartans split the first two doubles matches at Nos. 2 and 3 to bring the doubles point down to the final match. At No. 2, San Jose State's Irena Muradyan and Rozalina Youseva defeated Nevada's Lou-Anne Guerbert and Anastasia Luneva 6-3, while the Pack took the win at No. 3. Mariana Campino and Wiem Boubaker took Mara Marco Mas and Olaya Blances Iglesias 6-3. At No. 1, Nevada's Amahée Charrier and Audrey Moutama battled it out with San Jose State's Carolina Millan and Alba Pedrero Galindo. The Pack brought the match to 6-6 to go to the tiebreak, before defeating the Spartans 7-6 (5), capturing the doubles point heading into singles. 
 
Continuing the momentum, Nevada's Audrey Moutama and Lou-Anne Guerbert took the first two singles matches, putting the Pack up 3-0 over the Spartans. At No. 6, Moutama took Marco Mas 6-1, 6-1, while Guerbert defeated Muradyan 6-1, 6-1. It was Mariana Campino at No. 5 who clinched the match for Nevada with her 6-1, 6-3 win over San Jose State's Raquel Pereira. 
 
Nevada (7-7, 2-4 MW) go on the road for a pair of neutral site matches in San Jose, California, taking on Air Force on Friday, April 14, and New Mexico on Saturday, April 15.
