Box Score RENO, Nev. - Nevada softball concluded the series on a 4-1 loss against Utah State Sunday afternoon.
Carley Brown started the game for the Pack but was relieved by
Blake Craft after allowing five hits and four earned runs in 0.2 innings pitched.
Craft's relief performance was one of her best outings of the season. Through 6.1 innings pitched, she only allowed two hits and a walk while striking out nine of 22 batters.
Utah State jumped on the scoreboard first as they scored four runs in the first inning.
Charli Hawkins led off the bottom of the seventh with a home run to center field. The leadoff blast was her eighth of the season and her first 27th RBI.
Gabby Herrera followed the homer with a double into shallow left field but wasn't able to cross home.

Nevada will face the Hornets on Tuesday at 4 P.M., the game is available to watch on ESPN+. The Pack then makes their way down to the Bay Area for a doubleheader against the Santa Clara Broncos on Wednesday starting at 3 P.M.
