RENO, Nev. - Nevada rolls into another spring weekend, as Men's Tennis celebrates Senior Day Thursday at noon, and the baseball and softball teams hit the road for Mountain West action.

MEN'S TENNIS

Nevada Men's Tennis (9-7, 3-2 MW) wraps its regular season and its home schedule at McArthur Tennis Center Thursday, hosting Boise State (17-5, 3-1 MW) in Mountain West action.

The Pack split its weekend on the road in recent action, and aim to bounce back with a win to build momentum for the Mountain West Championships, set for April 26-28 in Las Vegas.

Nevada Baseball (15-19, 6-11 MW) goes for a second straight series win this weekend when it travels to San Diego State for a three-game set with the Aztecs (14-19, 8-5 MW).

First pitch for Friday's and Saturday's contests is set for 6:05 p.m. from Tony Gwynn Stadium, while Sunday's finale is set for a 1:05 p.m. start.

Friday's game will be livestreamed on the Mountain West Network. All three contests will be broadcast locally in Reno on KHIT 94.1 FM/1450 AM, and online through The Varsity Network app, with John Ramey on the call.

Once Nevada wraps things up in San Diego, it will return to Reno for its final home stand of 2023. The Wolf Pack begins this nine-game stand Tuesday, April 25, against Sacramento State, and continues with four games, two each against Long Beach State and Grand Canyon, from April 28-30.

Following a final home midweek game May 2 against San Francisco, the Pack hosts Senior Weekend May 5-7 against Fresno State.

Nevada softball (26-11, MW 7-6) travels to California for another Mountain West clash against the Fresno State Bulldogs (17-24, MW 6-7), April 21-23. The opener to the three-game series can be watched live on Mountain West Network Friday at 6 P.M. Followed by the second game on Saturday, at 2 p.m. and the final game of the series, Sunday at 12 p.m.

Last week, Nevada split the series with the two top teams of the conference, Boise State and San Diego State. The wins against both teams puts the Pack in third place in conference standings, only one game win behind San Diego State. 

Chelie Senini led the Pack offense by averaging .538 in hitting percentage with four games starting. The junior made 13 at-bat appearances, scoring six runs, seven hits, and one RBI. Senini registered three triples, and 13 total bases, with a 1.000 SLG percentage. The Reno native continues to be a weapon in steals as she stole five bases in six attempts. 

In the circle, Carley Brown recorded a 5.25 ERA, with a 1-1 wins and losses record against the Broncos and the Aztecs. The senior made two appearances and started in two games, with 12 innings played. Brown allowed 15 hits, 10 runs (9 earned), and three walks, while striking out seven players and recorded a .306 batting average during the series.

Nevada Women's Tennis (8-8, 3-5 MW) look to finish out their regular season in Las Vegas with a pair of matches against UNLV (14-3, 6-2 MW) on Friday, and San Diego State (13-6, 6-2 MW) on Saturday before traveling back down to the Fertitta Tennis Complex for the Mountain West Championships April 26-29. 

Recently, the Pack split the weekend in San Jose, wrapping their time in Northern California with a 4-2 win over New Mexico.
