RENO, Nev. - Spring season is in full swing at Nevada, and the coming weekend will feature two Wolf Pack teams competing at home.

Baseball, and Softball will all be home for competition this weekend, so there are plenty of opportunities to catch the Wolf Pack in action!

BASEBALL

Nevada Baseball (11-10, 2-4 MW), fresh off a 5-3 midweek victory at San Francisco Wednesday, returns to Reno for seven in a row at home, beginning with this weekend's three-game, Mountain West series against New Mexico. Friday's and Saturday's contests are scheduled for 1 p.m. starts, with Sunday's finale scheduled for an 11 a.m. first pitch. 

This week also begins a stretch in which Nevada plays 19 of its next 26 games at home, culminating with its home finale series May 5-7 against Fresno State.

Nevada Softball (20-4, 1-2 MW) will host in-state rivals the UNLV Rebels on a three-game series, beginning Friday at 3 p.m. 

Following this week, Nevada will host four games at Christina Hixson Park. Firstly, the Pack will face #3 UCLA for a midweek game on Tuesday, March 28. The contest is set to start at 11 a.m. at Christina Hixson Park. Following that, the Pack will have three-game Mountain West series against Utah State. 
 

SEASON TICKETS
2023 Softball Season Tickets are now available. Adult season tickets are $65, with Youth season tickets only $25. Family 4-Pack tickets are also available for $150. For more information, contact the Nevada Athletics Ticket Office at (775) 348-PACK.

WOMEN'S TENNIS

Nevada women's tennis (5-3) opens Mountain West play this weekend, taking on their first in-conference matchups against Boise State (7-4) and Utah State (5-5). Due to expected low temperatures in Reno, the originally-scheduled home match against the Broncos and Aggies were moved to Boise, to be played indoors. Both netural site matches will be at 10:00 a.m. After the weekend, the Pack will travel to Fort Collins to continue with conference matchups against Wyoming and Colorado State. The remaining six matches of the season will be a mix of home and away, followed by the Mountain West Championships hosted in Las Vegas, Nevada April 26-29.

Nevada track and field kicks off their outdoor season competing at two different events, the Aztec Invitational and the women's and men's distance squads competing at the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival. Coming off a fifth place finish at the indoor Mountain West Championships, the Pack are looking to continue the momentum from that success as they head into the outdoor season. These meets begin a four-week stretch of competitions spread across Northern and Southern California before concluding the season in the beginning of May at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships, followed by the NCAA West Preliminaries and the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
