RENO, Nev. - Nevada swim and dive are set to compete at the 2023 NCAA Championships, March 15-18 at Knoxville, Tenn.
Melissa Mirafuentes, Laura Isabel Vazquez Lopez, and Benedict Nagy will represent the Pack this week in the competition. Prelims are slated for 7 a.m. (PT) followed by finals beginning at 3 p.m. (PT) each day.
Mirafuentes and Vazquez qualified in the platform event and will dive in the 3-meter springboard, while Nagy is swimming the 400 IM.
In 2022, Mirafuentes boasted a pair of All-American honors for the first time after qualifying to the consolation finals in both platform and 3-meter during the NCAA Championships.
This is Vazquez's third time qualifying for the NCAA Championships, while Nagy will be swimming on the big stage for the first time in college.
