RENO, Nev. -Â Nevada women's basketball faces nationally ranked UNLV on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Lawlor Events Center in the regular season finale and part two of the Silver State Series presented by America First Credit Union.
Larry Burnett will have the call on 630 AM KPLYÂ with a 20 minute pregame show prior to tipoff. Fans can also listen live online through the Varsity Network. The game will be available to watch on Nevada Sports Net and live stats can be accessed through Sidearm.Â
Fans are encouraged to buy tickets online in advance starting at just $10 for adults and $5 for youth. Tickets will be available on site starting at just $13 for adults and $8 for youth. Tuesday's game will be a Blue Out and fans are encouraged to wear their Nevada Wolf Pack blue gear.Â
Tuesday's game against No. 22/No. 25 nationally ranked UNLV is the first time Nevada has hosted a top 25 team at Lawlor Events Center since Nov. 28, 2017 against No. 1 UConn. It will be the Pack's first time playing a top 25 team since the 2017-18 season. Nevada is searching for its first win over a top 25 team since Nov. 29, 2008 when they defeated No. 7 Louisville 85-82.Â
Megan Ormiston was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Ormiston, a two-time All-Mountain West Academic Team selection, received her bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Nevada with a 3.84 GPA. She is currently working on her master's degree in Speech Pathology, being one of 40 students in the program and the first student-athlete in the program in 30 years.Â
The Pack are currently third in the Mountain West in offensive rebounds per game with a 10.4 mark. Nevada has outrebounded its opponents 15 times this season and has had a player record double-digit rebounds 14 times.Â
SCOUTING UNLV
No. 22/No. 25 ranked UNLV clinched the Mountain West regular season title and come into Lawlor Events Center with an undefeated record in conference play. The Lady Rebels will be the first Mountain West team Nevada faces that holds a national ranking since the Pack joined the conference in 2012-13.Â
Desi-Rae Young looks to continue to lead the Lady Rebels, scoring 18 points per game to go with 10.2 rebounds per game with 49 steals. Essence Booker adds offense for UNLV by pouring in 12.8 points per game and 122 assists. UNLV has seven players who average at least seven points per game.Â

Nevada women's basketball will be one of 11 teams competing for the Mountain West's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. First round action for the women's tournament begins March 5 and the championship game takes place on March 8.Â
