USAFA, Colo. - Nevada women's basketball will complete its final regular season road trip on Saturday, taking on Air Force at 12 p.m.
Larry Burnett will have the call on 630 AM KPLY with a 20 minute pregame show prior to tipoff. Fans can also listen live online through the Varsity Network. The game will be available to watch on the Mountain West Network and live stats can be accessed through Stat Broadcast.
Saturday's game at Air Force presents significant meaning for the conference standings and the Mountain West Championships seeding. A win would move Nevada into seventh place and the Pack would clinch the tiebreaker having won the head-to-head battle against Air Force. The Pack would clinch eighth place and the No. 8 seed with a loss.
Megan Ormiston was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Ormiston, a two-time All-Mountain West Academic Team selection, received her bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Nevada with a 3.84 GPA. She is currently working on her master's degree in Speech Pathology, being one of 40 students in the program and the first student-athlete in the program in 30 years.
One third of Nevada's roster has posted at least one double-double this season, led by Thornton, Colorado, native
Alyssa Jimenez with five. She is the first player to post five double-doubles in one season since Terae Briggs in 2018-19. Jimenez (18 points and 11 rebounds) posted her fifth double-double of the season on Jan. 19 against Colorado State and her third straight game with a double-double.
SCOUTING AIR FORCE
Air Force is looking to avenge its loss to Nevada back on Jan. 7 at Lawlor Events Center. Nevada has won six of the last seven meetings with Air Force, with the Falcons knocking out the Pack from the Mountain West Tournament last season.
Kamri Heath is Air Force's primary player, leading the Falcons with 13.1 points per game on the season. Madison Smith adds production with 12.8 points per game to go with dishing out 35 assists.

Nevada women's basketball will be one of 11 teams competing for the Mountain West's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. First round action for the women's tournament begins March 5 and the championship game takes place on March 8.
