Box Score 2 ROCK HILL, S.C. - Nevada improved its record to 6-1 after a two wins on the first day of the Winthrop tournament.

Blake Craft was the leader in the circle for the Pack. Craft played five innings, striking out seven players and only allowing one hit.
Chelie Senini, Charli Hawkins, and Madison Clark led the Pack offense with two hits each. Senini continues to be efficient on base, with two stolen bases in the game. The junior also registered two runs and one RBI.
Hawkins recorded three RBI, including a 2-RBI single in the second inning and a double in the bottom of the fourth.
Clark was the most efficient player on the plate as she went 2-2 with one run registered. The freshman also recorded a stolen base in the bottom of the third.
Gabby Herrera, Haylee Engelbrecht, Maile Olse, and Hailey Prahm tallied one hit each. Both Olsen and Herrera registered RBI that helped Nevada win the game with an 8-0 score.
North Carolina A&T State 2 - Nevada 10 | 5 innings
Carley Brown was the starting pitcher for the Pack. Brown gave up five hits, two runs, and strikeout eight to record the win for Nevada.
Hawkins, Engelbrecht, Jenkins, and Olsen tallied one hit for the Pack to lead the offense. Hawkins scored her first 2-RBI home run that extended the lead in the bottom of the fourth. Prahm also led the team in RBI after two-RBI in the game.
As a team, Nevada tied the single-game high of nine stolen bases courtesy of Glover (2), Jenkins (2), Olsen (2), Herrera (1), Prahm (1), and Clark (1).
The Pack took over the scoreboard in the bottom of the second inning, after the Aggies were up 1-0. Nevada scored three runs on errors by the Aggies with two outs to take over the lead.
In the bottom of the third, Jenkins hit an RBI-double to lead off the inning, followed by a sac fly from Prahm, and a stolen home base by Olsen, that extended the lead to 6-1.
After Hawkins 2-RBI home run in the fourth inning, Prahm recorded another sac fly that put the Pack in the mercy-rule zone with a 9-1 score.
Engelbrecht called game in the bottom of the fifth after a single RBI that scored Herrera to close the day with a 10-2 win.
