FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Nevada Women's Tennis closed the regular season Saturday morning, falling, 4-0, at host Colorado State.
Nevada (8-10, 2-7 MW) will head to Tucson, Ariz., for next week's Mountain West Women's Tennis Championship.
Saturday, the Pack tandem of
Mariana Campino and
Selina Turulja picked up a convincing 6-3 victory in doubles play, forcing the third and deciding match to determine the point. But Colorado State would take the early 1-0 lead, as
Anastasia Luneva and
Carla Del Barrio were defeated by Somer Dalla-Bona and Sarka Richterova, 6-1.
Colorado State (14-7, 8-2 MW) won the first three singles matches to clinch the match.
