FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Nevada Women's Tennis fell, 4-1, to Wyoming in its weekend opener in Fort Collins.

The Pack (8-9, 2-6 MW) will close the regular season Saturday at 11 a.m. PT against pod host Colorado State. The Mountain West Tournament will then get underway Wednesday, April 27.

Saturday, the Pack pulled even at 1-1 thanks to a 6-1, 6-4 victory from Selina Turulja at No. 4 singles. But, despite Gabriella Charalampidi being on the verge of victory at No. 5, and Mariana Campino in a third set at No. 2, Nevada would drop decisions at Nos. 1, 3, and 6, as Wyoming (9-8, 5-5 MW) clinched the match.

Charalampidi, at No. 5, led Ida Krause, 1-6, 6-3, 5-4 at the time their match was abandoned. In doubles action, the Pack tandem of Anastasia Luneva and Carla del Barrio led Ana Fernandez and Sophie Zehender, 5-3, at the point at which Wyoming clinched the doubles point.
