NSN to air nine Nevada Baseball contests

RENO, Nev. – Nine Nevada Baseball contests, including the March 29-30 midweek series against national power Oregon State, will air on NSN this spring.

The contests against Oregon State mark the first time Nevada baseball has played a regular-season contest at the home of the Triple-A Reno Aces since 2014.

John Ramey will be on play-by-play and Wolf Pack alum and former Major League Baseball catcher Chris Gimenez will serve as color commentor for the Wolf Pack-Beavers games.

NSN also will air simulcasts of Nevada's three-game home series against San Diego State from April 1-3 as well as single games against Air Force (April 15), Saint Mary's (April 19), New Mexico (May 6) and Fresno State (May 20). Those games will include Ramey on play-by-play.

The nine local broadcasts are the most in a single season for Nevada baseball, which is coming off a Mountain West regular-season title, the third in program history, and an NCAA Regional appearance during the 2021 season. The Wolf Pack is 10-8 this season.

NSN, which debuted in September 2018, is the state's only full-time sports channel. In Northern Nevada, NSN is available over the air on channel 21; Charter channel 787 in HD or 7 in SD; DirecTV and Dish Network on channel 21; or on AT&T U-verse channel 1021 in HD or 21 in SD. The games can be seen from the following counties: Washoe, Carson, Humboldt, Churchill, Pershing, Douglas, Lyon, Mineral, Lassen Lander, and Eureka.
