RENO, Nev. - It came down to the final match, and, with both teams lined up just to the side of Court 4 at McArthur Tennis Center, Cristina Moll Alles defeated Megan Carmichael, 6-4, 7-6, to clinch the 4-3 win for the Pack over Pacific.

Moll Alles thwarted a Pacific comeback from down 3-1 with the win. After winning the doubles point and taking a 2-1 lead after a split of the first two singles results, the Pack suffered two-straight losses before Moll Alles brought it home.

Moll Alles was part of Nevada's (6-3) strong start, teaming with Gabriella Charalampidi for a 6-0 doubles win at the No. 3 spot, before Milka Genkova and Anastasia Luneva clinched the point with a 6-4 victory at No. 1.

Charalampidi evened things up in singles play, answering a Pack loss at No. 1 with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 6 over Alexis Sam. Selina Turulja followed up at No. 5 with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Danielle Zamora.

But Pacific (7-5) fought back to even with wins from Zoe Clydesdale-Eberle and Klara Kosan at Nos. 3 and 2, respectively, before Moll Alles clinched things at No. 4.

The win wraps Nevada's non-conference slate. The Pack opens Mountain West play next weekend in Albuquerque, taking on Air Force Saturday, March 26, before closing against host New Mexico Sunday, March 27. Both matches are set for 9 a.m. PT first serves.
