RENO, Nev. - Nevada (19-11) begins play at the 2022 Women's Basketball Invitational Friday, March , against Davidson at 2 p.m. PT at Transylvania University in Lexington, Ky.

Larry Burnett will have the call of the action on CBS Sports Radio 94.1 FM and 1450 AM with a 20-minute pregame show prior to tip. Fans can also listen live online via The Varsity Network app.

The games of the 2022 WBI will be streamed at http://www.watchwbi.com, at a cost of $10 per day.

UP NEXT
The Pack will face either Cleveland State or Northeastern Saturday, at either 2 p.m. PT or 5 p.m. PT.

LAST TIME OUT
Nevada fell, 75-60, to Air Force in the quarterfinals of the 2022 Air Force Reserve Mountain West Championship back on March 7.

Air Force hit seven first-half 3-pointers, on the way to a 37-19 lead. The Pack fought back to within nine early in the fourth quarter, but the Falcons went 9-for-11 from the field in the final period to pull away.

Da'Ja Hamilton led Nevada with 23 points in the contest, while Amaya West, with 15, was also in double figures.

SCOUTING DAVIDSON
Davidson (16-14) finished 6-10 in A-10 play in 2021-22, and reached the quarterfinals of the A-10 Tournament earlier in March.

The Wildcats are led by the play of three players averaging double figures in scoring: Elle Sutphin (13.9 ppg, 53.4 FG pct.), Chloe Welch (10.4 ppg, 5.1 rpg), and Suzi-Rose Deegan (10.1 ppg, 4.0 rpg).

NEVADA AT THE WBI
This weekend will mark Nevada's second all-time appearance at the Women's Basketball Invitational (2018, 2022).

Four years ago, the Pack defeated UC Irvine at home and took a road win at Fresno State to advance to the semifinals of the 16-team tournament, before falling, 65-56, at Central Arkansas.

Current Wolf Pack graduate assistant Halie Bergman was on that 2018 WBI team, starting all three WBI contests and shooting 40.0 percent from the field.

FIFTH POSTSEASON APPEARANCE FOR THE PACK
This weekend's action will mark Nevada's fifth all-time postseason appearance (three WNIT, two WBI).

Nevada went 2-1 at its first WBI appearance in 2018, and is 1-3 in three appearances in the WNIT (2007, 2009, 2010).
