MORAGA, Calif. - Nevada bounced back from its weekend-opening loss to BYU in Davis to grab a 4-2 victory at Saint Mary's, Sunday.
The Pack (9-4) came back strong after dropping the doubles point to the Gaels. In singles play, Nevada rolled to wins at spots 3-6, led by straight-sets wins from
Juan Batalla and
Ambroise Marchand. Batalla grabbed a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Karlo Divkovic, while Marchand captured a 7-5, 6-4 victory over Thibaud Maxant.
Loris Zisswiller defeated Felipe Rincon, 3-6, 6-3, 6-1, while
Daniel Dudockin's default victory provided the winning point.
Nevada returns to action March 11-12 at the Golden Gate Invitational in Sacramento, opening Friday at 10 a.m. against Sacramento State.
