RENO, Nev. - Nevada heads to St. George, Utah for the Dixie State Tournament on Feb. 24-26.

WHAT'S ON THE AGENDA?

• The Pack faces Weber State on Thursday, Utah Valley, and Dixie State on Friday, and will close the weekend on Saturday against Weber State and Utah Valley again. 
• Nevada's game against Dixie State will be live-streamed.

LAST TIME OUT

• Nevada claimed the first two wins of the season at the North Texas Tournament, against Montana (2-1) and Abilene Christian (2-1).

UP NEXT

• Following this tournament, the Pack will stay on the road and travel to Stockton, Calif. to play at the Libby Matson Tournament, Mar. 4-6.
• The Pack will face Idaho State and Seton Hall twice, and the host team Pacific.

TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN WEST

• Nevada leads the Mountain West in two individual statistics: stolen bases and doubles.
• Chelie Senini paces the conference with eight stolen bases. Senini is also ranked fourth with 13 hits so far. 
• Danielle Lew leads the conference in doubles with five recorded. 
• Ellie Garcia is also ranked fourth with 32 strikeouts in 28 innings played.

HOME RUN CLUB

• Aaliyah Jenkins, Alycia Coats, and Jessica Sellers have all hit their first home run of the season during the Tracy Beard College Classic. Jenkins on the game against North Texas, while Coats and Sellers scored against Abilene Christian. 
• Jenkins and Coats's home runs were their first as a member of the Pack. 
• Nevada has now four home runs this season, including Charli McLendon's hit against CSUN. 

ON THE RECORD BOOK

• Senini has entered Nevada's record book for stolen bases. 
• The Reno native is currently sitting in second place, with 38 stolen bases so far in her collegiate career. 
• The sophomore is behind Brittany Puzey (42-52) - 2006-09 who had 42 stolen bases in her career as a member of the Pack. 

NEVADA IS HOME

• The Wolf Pack has discovered it doesn't need to look far to find players that best fit its program as 7 players of the 2022 roster are from the Northern Nevada region.
• Senini, along with Jessica Sellers and Bella Kordonowy are locals returning to the Pack and looking to continue to create an impact on the team.

NEWCOMERS

• The Pack brought on 11 new faces to the 2022 roster, including nine freshmen. Paris Schwalbe, Aaliyah Jenkins, Kendall Angulo, Tatum Maytorena, Makayla Weber, Alycia Coats, Abby Larsen, Ellie Garcia, and Bradianne Glover. 
• Also joining the team are right-handed pitchers transfers Tyra Clary and Melia Croydon.

Nevada chosen FIFTH in the preseason poll

• The Wolf Pack was slated fifth in the Mountain West preseason poll, which was voted upon by the league's coaches and announced on Feb. 3. The Pack finished third in the Mountain West last year.
• With a total of 57 points and five first-place votes, UNLV was chosen to win the conference. Following the Rebels is San Diego State which received 57 points and three first-place votes.
• Fresno State (43) beat out Boise State (43) for third, after receiving one vote for first place while Nevada (42) edged out Colorado State (35), New Mexico (17), San Jose State (15), and Utah State (15).
