RENO, Nev. – Nevada Softball had three players named to Postseason Mid-Major D100 Player Rankings: The Best of 2025. This is the first-ever spotlight on the best players outside of P4 conferences who stood out during their 2025 seasons. Three members of the Pack, includingÂ
Aaliyah Jenkins,Â
Hailey McLean, and
 Haley Painter were selected.
Â
Jenkins, one of the top players in the region, hit .446 for the Pack, playing in all 55 games. Jenkins tied the program record with 17 home runs, helping her break the single-season record for total bases (152). Jenkins slugged .916 and walked 29 times, boosting her OPS to 1.462. A true five-tool player, Jenkins also stole 31 bases, being the only player in Division I Softball to steal 30 bases and hit 10 home runs.Â
McLean led the Pack with a 2.62 ERA and 17 wins in her 34 appearances. McLean pitched two complete-game shutouts, coming back-to-back conference appearances against Boise State and San Diego State. McLean pitched six total complete games with four partial shutouts and four saves. The Spanish Springs alum struck out 149 batters in 138.2 innings pitched.
Â
Painter was second on the team in home runs (15), doubles (14), and slugging percentage (.683) for the Pack. Painter's non-conference play helped put Nevada into national conversations early in the season, putting the Wolf Pack in the eyes of the national media.Â
