Nevada Baseball announces 2022 promotional schedule

RENO, Nev. – The Nevada baseball program is excited to add $2 Howlers, sponsored by Sodexo and Morrey Distributing, on Friday nights to the promotional schedule! 
 
Season-Long Promotions:
  • Join us at every home Tuesday game for $2 Tuesdays. Treat yourself to $2 sodas, hot dogs, and mystery beers!
  •  $2 Howlers on Friday nights sponsored by Sodexo and Morrey Distributing.
  • Come check out our Food Truck Friday, with new vendors joining us at every Friday home game (may be subject to change)
  • On Sundays, kids 12 and under will get the chance to run the bases after the game
  • Don't forget to pick up your Trading cards at every home conference series
  • All fans will have the chance to participate in series raffles and a season raffle for a chance to win some Nevada Wolf Pack Baseball prizes, we'll be selecting winners at the end of every home series, and one winner at the end of our season!
Series Promotion Breakdown:
The Nevada baseball team opens up its home schedule with a weekend series against San Jose State starting on Friday, March 11th at 1 p.m. Fans will get to snag the 2022 Nevada Baseball poster and have their first chance to check out the reigning Mountain West Champions in their first series back at Don Weir Field at Peccole Park.
 
Days later, Nevada will host Dixie State for a 2 game weekday series on March 15th and 16th. We'll be focusing on Mind and Body Wellness at Peccole with local businesses, organizations, and vendors present to help you balance your physical, mental, and emotional needs.
 
After a two-week break, Nevada returns home for another midweek two-game series on March 29th and 30th, where they will take on Oregon State.
 
That weekend, April 1st-3rd, Nevada takes on San Diego State. On Friday and Saturday, we'll be partnering with Greek Life on campus and in the community for our Greek Night Out. Sunday we will be hosting our official Youth Day and Faculty & Staff Day. Local youth teams will get free food and drink vouchers with their tickets, while Faculty and Staff will have the chance to tailgate prior to the game.
 
Nevada will return on April 5th for a one-off game against Sacramento State, with the first pitch scheduled at 4 p.m.
 
After another break, Nevada will return to Peccole for a three-day series against the Air Force Academy, kicking off on Thursday, April 14th at 6 p.m. The entire series will be our Salute to Service weekend when we honor current and former military members in the community. All current and former military members will receive free tickets, through a promo code online, or with proper ID.
 
Nevada will return on April 19th for another one-off game against St. Mary's, with the first pitch scheduled at 6 p.m.
 
Returning to Peccole after a two-week break, Nevada will host New Mexico for a three-game series May 6th - May 8th. This will be an important weekend for the pack, as we host our Alumni Weekend, honoring and celebrating our own Wolf Pack alumni, including the 2012 Champion Team. This will also be our Lace Up 4 Pediatric cancer weekend, where your Wolf Pack will raise awareness by wearing colored laces throughout the entire series.
 
For our final home series, Nevada will host Fresno State from May 19th – 21st. We will spend the entire weekend acknowledging and showing our appreciation for all of our fans, culminating in our final game on Saturday where fans will have one last chance to cheer on our Wolf Pack Baseball team and celebrate our seniors in their final home game at Peccole Park.
