SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - Nevada men's tennis fell, 4-0, at Utah Sunday, closing its weekend of action.
Loris Zisswiller and
Satchel Benn were ahead, 4-2, at No. 3 doubles, for Nevada (8-3) when Utah clinched the point with victories at the top-two positions.
In singles play, the Utes (11-0) picked up straight-sets decisions at Nos. 1, 5 and 2 to close the match. Benn, at No. 3, was tied 6-6 with Utah's Geronimo Espin at the time the match was called, while
Delmas N'Tcha, at No. 5, was about to begin the third and deciding set against Bruno Caula at 6-3, 1-6.
Nevada returns to action in two weeks, taking on BYU Friday, Feb. 25 in Davis, then visiting Saint Mary's Sunday, Feb. 27.
