POCATELLO, Idaho - Nevada men's tennis split its matches Friday in Pocatello, Idaho, falling, 6-1, to host Idaho State before defeating Linfield University, 4-0, late at night.

In the opener, Nevada dropped the doubles point, and, in singles play, only Satchel Benn, at No. 4, was victorious. Benn continued his strong start to the season with a 6-4, 6-4 win over the Bengals' (3-4) Hiroki Fujita.

In the nightcap, the Pack (8-2) rolled to a quick 4-0 win over Linfield University. After capturing all three doubles matches for the opening point, Nevada got three quick singles wins from Matheo Coupu (6-3, 6-1), Delmas N'Tcha (6-0, 6-1), and Ambroise Marchand (6-0, 6-1) to clinch the match.

Nevada returns to action Sunday, visiting Utah for a 4 p.m. PT match.
