Dominique is one of the most decorated baseball players in Nevada history, still ranking in the Nevada top 10 in a  number of school records including career and single-season home runs. The 1997 Big West Player of the Year and a two-time selection to the All-Big West First Team (1996-97), Dominique closed his Wolf Pack career as the program's all-time leader in games played (213, now fifth) and hits (272, now fifth), and remains the program's career (62) and single-season (30, 1997) leader in home runs. He was drafted in the 26th round of the 1997 amateur draft by the Philadelphia Phillies, and made his major-league debut in 2004 with the Boston Red Sox.
After being drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 19th round of the 2004 MLB June Amateur Draft, Gimenez made his MLB debut in 2009 and played for six teams over his 10-year big-league career. At Nevada from 2002-04, Gimenez batted .327 with 144 hits, 30 home runs, and 103 RBIs, and was a two-time All-WAC selection, including a first-team nod in 2003.
Mastrobuoni, a 14th-round selection of the Tampa Bay Rays in 2016, became the 24th Wolf Pack Baseball alumnus to make his major-league debut when he took the field this past Sept. 22. In his lone season at Nevada in 2016, Mastrobuoni was named to the All-Mountain West Second Team, batting .362 and scoring 50 runs, with 79 hits, 17 doubles, 38 RBIs, and 17 stolen bases.
