RENO, Nev. - The Mountain West announced the 2022 All-Conference Volleyball team, as voted on by all head coaches. Outside hitter Kayla Afoa was named to the All-Conference team on Wednesday morning.

The Honolulu, Hawaii native saw action in 114 sets this season. Afoa posted 26 double-digits in kills. During the season, Afoa led the team with 423 kills recorded. The senior registered a season-high of 23 kills, 25 points, and 17 digs against Utah Tech. 

Defensively, Afoa finished the season with 323 digs and 37 total blocks. As offensively, the senior also registered 38 service aces and 18 assists. 

During the season, Afoa was selected MW Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 5 and Defensive Player of the Week, Nov. 7.
