LOGAN, Utah - Nevada dropped match against the Utah State Aggies, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon.
Kayla Afoa led the Pack offense with seven kills in a .350 hitting percentage. Andrea Alcaraz registered 12 assists while leading the Pack in digs with nine.
How it happened
Utah State started the match with a 4-score run with no response by the Pack. The Aggies continued on the lead going into the media timeout, 15-7. Nevada cut the deficit, but not enough, as Utah State closed the first match with a 25-16 score.
The Aggies kept their momentum going into the second set. Nevada held the game within four points, but Utah State extended its lead to win the set 25-16.
The same situation happened in the final set, where the Aggies continued with their momentum, with a 9-3 lead that forced Nevada to call a timeout. The Aggies won the third set, 25-16, and the match 3-0.
